THE FRIENDS OF THE MAE S BRUCE LIBRARY SHALL BE A NON-PROFIT, NON-POLITICAL ORGANIZATION WITH THESE MAJOR PURPOSES AND OBJECTIVES. 1. TO MAINTAIN AN ASSOCIATION OF PERSONS INTERESTED IN LIBRARIES; 2. TO FOCUS PUBLIC ATTENTION ON LIBRARY SERVICES, FACILITIES, AND NEEDS. 3. TO RAISE FUNDS, RECEIVE AND ENCOURAGE GIFTS AND BEQUESTS TO THE LIBRARY; TO PROMOTE THE LIBRARY AS A CULTURAL, EDUCATIONAL, AND RECREATIONAL ASSET TO THE COMMUNITY.
