UMC PROVIDES HEALTHCARE SERVICES TO LOW MODERATE INCOME FAMILIES WHO ARE RESIDENTS OF THREE TEXAS COUNTIES IN OR APPROXIMATE TO THE TEXAS-MEXICO BORDER. SERVICES ARE PROVIDED AT LOW COST AND ARE BASED ON ABILITY TO PAY BASIS. UMC OUTPATIENT ENCOUNTERS WERE 119,977. SERVICES PROVIDED TO OUR PATIENTS INCLUDE FAMILY MEDICINE, FAMILY PLANNING, INTERNAL MEDICINE, PEDIATRICS, PODIATRY, RADIOLOGY, AND WOMEN'S HEALTH.


LABORATORY SERVICES AT UMC PROVIDE ACCURATE INFORMATIVE COST-EFFECTIVE TESTING. OUR EXPERIENCED TEAM OFFERS A FULL RANGE OF TESTING, HEMATOLOGY, CHEMISTRY, IMMUNOLOGY, SEROLOGY AND URIANALYSIS USING HIGH TECH INSTRUMENTATION. OUR ABILITY TO PROVIDE OUR PATIENTS WITH ON-SITE TESTING GIVES OUR PROVUDERS THE NECESSARY MEDICAL INFORMATION FOR A RAPID AND ACCURATE DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT.

SERVICES PROVIDED BY OUR PHARMACY INCLUDE PHARMACEUTICAL COUSELING, DRUG INFORMATION/EDUCATION, AND A WIDE SELECTION OF PHARMACEUTICALS AT COMPARATIVE PRICES.
