JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT HELPS TO BRING THE MANY JA PROGRAMS TO BRAZORIA COUNTY YOUTH, AWARDING THE STUDENTS FOR THEIR DEDICATION TO ACADEMICS AS THEY LEARN VALUABLE REAL-LIFE LESSONS FOR THEIR FUTURE SUCCESS. THROUGH JA THE STUDENTS OF TODAY ARE LEARNING HOW TO BE VALUED EMPLOYEES OF TOMORROW AS WELL AS LEARNING HOW IMPORTANT BASIC MONEY MANAGEMENT IS TO THEIR FUTURE. DURING THE 2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR, VOLUNTEERS ENGAGED STUDENTS IN MORE THAN 31,758 HOURS OF ACTIVITY-BASED LESSONS.THESE INTERACTIONS ENABLED CHILDREN TO HAVE UNIQUE EXPERIENCES TO HELP THEM: -PROVIDED JA PROGRAMS TO 5410 BRAZORIA COUNTY YOUTH IN 325 CLASSROOMS ACROSS THE COUNTY -ELECTED 4 COMMUNITY LEADERS INTO THE BRAZORIA COUNTY BUSINESS HALL OF FAME -PROVIDED SCHOLARSHIPS TO 7 LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS
