340B PROGRAM:THE AFRICAN FAMILY HEALTH ORGANIZATION (AFAHO) IS A "COVERED ENTITY" AS DEFINED IN SECTION 340B OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE ACT AND IS ELIGIBLE TO PURCHASE CERTAIN OUTPATIENT DRUGS AT REDUCED PRICES FOR USE BY ELIGIBLE PATIENTS FROM DRUG MANUFACTURERS WHO HAVE SIGNED A DRUG PURCHASING AGREEMENT WITH THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES AND/OR THE MANUFACTURERS' WHOLESALERS. AFAHO PROVIDES HEALTH CARE AND OTHER CASE MANAGEMENT AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES TO ELIGIBLE PATIENTS. AFAHO HAS PARTNERED WITH SOLVENCY PHARMACY WHO DISPENSES COVERED DRUGS TO ELIGIBLE PATIENTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL APPLICABLE STATE AND FEDERAL STATUTES AND REGULATIONS AND THE PROFESSIONAL JUDGMENT OF THE DISPENSING PHARMACIST.


FGC-NSC: A FEDERALLY FUNDED PROGRAM, THE PHILADELPHIA INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S PROGRAM (PIWP) IS A PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN THE AFRICAN FAMILY HEALTH ORGANIZATION, DREXEL UNIVERSITY'S WOMEN'S CARE CENTER AND NATIONALITIES SERVICE CENTER (NSC) TO PROVIDE HEALTH AND SOCIAL SUPPORT SERVICES TO WOMEN IMPACTED BY FEMALE GENITAL CUTTING.


MULTIPLE OTHER PROGRAMS WHICH INCLUDE YOUTH IN ACTION, HEALTHY BEGINNINGS, HIV/AIDS OUTREACH.
