PROVIDE VETERINARY CARE TO SICK ANIMALS AS WELL AS PREVENTATIVE CARE TO OTHER ADOPTABLE ANIMALS AT THE SHELTER. MANY ANIMALS REQUIRED MAJOR DENTAL CARE, INCLUDING TOOTH EXTRACTIONS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
THE FUND PURCHASED EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES FOR THE WELL BEING AND CARE OF SHELTER ANIMALS INCLUDING GROOMING SUPPLIES, COLLARS, MEDICATIONS, CABLE TIE OUTS, AND MUZZLES IN ADDITION TO SPECIAL FOOD, TOYS AND TREATS.
THE FUND PURCHASED ADOPTION AWARENESS BROCHURES AND SPECIAL DOG TRAINING CLASSES TO ENHANCE ADOPTABILITY OF CERTAIN DOGS. THE FUND ALSO PURCHASED OXYGEN MASKS FOR ANIMALS TO BE USED DURING RESIDENTIAL FIRE EVACUATIONS.
