OKLAHOMA CITY MARATHON, INC. PLANS AND CARRIES OUT AN ANNUAL MARATHON TO GENERATE FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE OKLAHOMA CITY NATIONAL MEMORIAL FOUNDATION WHICH WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1995. THE FOUNDATION OWNS AND OPERATES A MEMORIAL AND MUSEUM DEDICATED TO TELLING THE STORY OF THE APRIL 19, 1995 BOMBING OF THE ALFRED P. MURRAH FEDERAL BUILDING AND THE STORIES OF THOSE WHO WERE AFFECTED.
