TO FOSTER, DEVELOP, PROMOTE, AND REGULATE AMATEUR SOFTBALL, TO PROVIDE IT WITH PROPER SAFEGUARDS, AND TO ENCOURAGE THE UNION OF ALL ELIGIBLE TEAMS, ORGANIZATIONS OR GROUPS AND TO SUCH SEPARATE ASSOCIATIONS WITH ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP AND REPESENTATION IN THIS ASSOCIATION AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DEEM BEST ADAPTED TO ADVANCE THE CAUSE OF AMATEUR SOFTBALL.

TASA HAS PROMOTED AND DEVELOPED AREA SOFTBALL BY CREATING AND COORDINATING MEN'S, WOMENS'S, CHURCH, SENIOR AND COED LEAGUES. TASA ORGANIZES LEAGUE PLAY IN THE SPRING, SUMMER, FALL AND WINTER AND ADDITIONALLLY ORGANIZES TOURNAMENT PLAY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
