*THE POST HONOR GUARD PERFORMED 47 MILITARY HONOR FUNERALS WITH A FULL DETACHMENT WITH BUGLE AND CEREMONIAL RIFLES.*DONATED 16 AMERICAN FLAGS TO VARIOUS SCHOOLS AND ORGANIZATIONS. *DONATED 2 DOZEN CHRISTMAS HAMS AND THANKSGIVING TURKEYS. *DONATED CASH OR LABOR AND MATERIALS TO NEEDY VETERANS, THE BOY SCOUT CAMP, OR OTHER WORTHY CAUSES. *DONATED USE OF ITS HALL TO THE ABBEVILLE AND NEW IBERIA NATIONAL GUARD UNITS FOR BENEFITS MEETINGS AND DEPLOYMENT FAMILY FAREWELLS.*LOANED ACQUIRED MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TO INJURED OR DISABLED VETERANS. *CEREMONINALLY RETIRED OVER 500 AMERICAN FLAGS. *CHARTERS BSA TROOP 133, BSA TROOP 331, BSA PACK 463, BSA CREW 119 AND SPONSOR THE ACADIANA DIVISION OF THE US NAVAL SEA CADET CORPS.
