THE ORGANIZATION WAS ABLE TO ASSIST INDIVIDUALS/FAMILIES WITH THINGS SUCH AS CLOTHING, SHELTER, SCHOLARSHIPS AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS NEEDS. THROUGH THE PROGRAM, OPERATION ROUNDUP, CUSTOMERS OF DIXIE ELECTRIC MEMBERSHIP CORPORATION MAY ELECT TO HAVE THEIR ELECTRICITY BILL ROUNDED UP TO THE NEAREST DOLLAR AMOUNT WITH THE DIFFERENCE REMITTED TO THE FOUNDATION TO PROVIDE THE FUNDING FOR THOSE ELIGIBLE FOR AID. IN 2023, THE FOUNDATION HAD 175 RECEIPIENTS THAT REQUESTED AND RECEIVED ASSISTANCE TOTALING $265,869, INCLUDING $102,500 IN SCHOLARSHIPS TO 80 DIFFERENT STUDENTS.
