DURING 2021, THE EYESIGHT FOUNDATION OF ALABAMA CONTINUED TO FOCUS ON GRANTS, PARTICULARLY IN SUPPORT OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA AT BIRMINGHAM DEPARTMENT OF OPHTHALMOLOGY AND VISUAL SCIENCES' RESEARCH, EDUCATION AND CLINICAL CARE ENDEAVORS. EYESIGHT FOUNDATION'S SUPPORT ALSO ADDS VALUE TO THE WORK OF COMMUNITY-BASED (NON-UAB) NONPROFITS SERVING BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED PEOPLE BY PROVIDING VISION SCREENINGS, EYE GLASSES, SENSORY EQUIPMENT FOR THERAPY FOR BABIES AND CHILDREN, AND SO FORTH.
