THE COALITION WAS FORMED TO WORK TOWARD INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. THE MAJORITY OF THE COALITION'S ACTIVITIES INVOLVE TRYING TO OBTAIN NATIONAL RECOGNITION OF LA HWY 1 TO DEVELOP A FOUR LANE HIGHWAY FROM US HWY 90 TO PORT FOURCHON.
