TRAINING PROGRAM-TO HELP BLIND PERSONS FULLY PARTICIPATE IN THE ECONOMIC, SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL LIVES OF THEIR COMMUNITIES THROUGH BRAILLE, CANE TRAVEL, AND OTHER SPECIAL BLIND SKILLS


BUDDY PROGRAM - SUMMER PROGRAM FOR BLIND CHILDREN THAT INCLUDES MENTORING AND ASSOCIATION WITH OTHER SUCCESSFUL BLIND PERSONS


STEP PROGRAM - SUMMER TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT PROJECT IS FOR BLIND TEENAGERS TO PROMOTE JOB READINESS SKILLS AND INDEPENDENCE.


NATIONAL FEDERATION OF THE BLIND OF LOUISIANA PROVIDED RESOURCES TO ASSIST IN OUTREACH ADVOCACY, TRAINING AND SUPPORT FOR BLIND/VISUALLY IMPAIRED PEOPLE. IT IS A 501 (C) 3 ORGANIZATION.
