THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW ORLEANS FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO PROMOTE THE WELL-BEING AND ADVANCEMENT OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW ORLEANS AND ALL THE COLLEGES, SCHOOLS, DEPARTMENTS, AND DIVISIONS COMPRISING IT, AND TO DEVELOP, EXPAND, AND IMPROVE THE UNIVERSITY'S CURRICULA, PROGRAMS, AND FACILITIES SO AS TO PROVIDE GREATER EDUCATIONAL ADVANTAGES AND OPPORTUNITIES, AND INCREASE THE UNIVERSITY'S BENEFITS TO THE CITIZENS OF THE STATE OF LOUISIANA AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR ACADEMIC DEPARTMENTS & ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES AND SUPPLEMENT OPERATING COSTS FOR FACULTY, GUESTS, SPEAKERS, TRAVEL, & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT RELATED TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW ORLEANS. TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS AND AWARDS TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW ORLEANS STUDENTS TO HELP OFFSET THE COSTS OF TUITION, BOOKS, AND FEES TO ENCOURAGE AND SUPPORT THE PURSUIT OF HIGHER EDUCATION.
