HOPE HOUSE PROVIDES HUMAN SERVICES, INCLUDING ADULT EDUCATION, EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, FOOD PANTRY, ADVOCACY, AND NEIGHBORHOOD ORGANIZING TO ENHANCE THE LIVES OF INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD AT LARGE.

EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO HOUSEHOLDS FACING EVICTION, UTILITY CUTOFF, FUNERALS, ETC. IT ALSO ADVOCATES FOR HOUSEHOLDS WITH LANDLORDS, GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, AND OTHER BUSINESSES AND AGENCIES.


THE ADULT LEARNING CENTER PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL SERVICES TO ADULTS WHO ENROLLED TO IMPROVE BASIC ACADEMIC SKILLS, EARN THE HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA AND PREPARE FOR ENROLLMENT IN COLLEGE OR OTHER TRAINING PROGRAM. THE PROGRAM ALSO TEACHES DIGITAL/COMPUTER SKILLS. THE PROGRAM CHARGES NO TUITION AND REQUIRES NO OTHER FEES.


CAREER DEVELOPMENT ASSISTS INDIVIDUALS TO THINK/PLAN FOR CAREERS, IDENTIFY JOBS, CREATE RESUMES, FILL OUT APPLICATIONS, PRACTICE JOB INTERVIEWS, APPLY FOR COLLEGE OR OTHER TRAINING PROGRAMS, APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID. IT ALSO ASSISTS INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE APPLYING FOR UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS, SNAP, SUBSIDIZED HOUSING, AND OTHER PUBLIC BENEFITS.
