TO PROVIDE A COURT-APPOINTED VOICE FOR ABUSED AND NEGLECTED CHILDREN - PROTECTING THEIR FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT TO BE SAFE, TREATED WITH DIGNITY AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO GROW IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT.

CASA OF LARAMIE COUNTY'S SOLE PROGRAM GOAL IS TO SUPPORT ABUSED AND NEGLECTED CHILDREN THROUGH ENLISTING, TRAINING AND SUPERVISING VOLUNTEERS TO WORK WITH COURT APPOINTED CHILDREN IN NEED. AS PART OF THIS PROGRAM, VOLUNTEERS ARE TRAINED AND MATCHED WITH CHILDREN, CHILDREN ARE PROVIDED A SUPPORT SYSTEM OUTSIDE THE CONFLICT THEY MAY BE FACING AT HOME OR IN THE FOSTER CARE SYSTEM, CHILDREN ARE PROVIDED SAFE, FUN ACTIVITIES SUCH AS MOVIE NIGHTS OR PLAY TIME THROUGH CASA SUPPORTED EVENTS, AND CHILDREN ARE SUPPORTED THROUGH PROGRAMS LIKE HOLLY'S PILLOWS WHICH PROVIDES CHILDREN IN THE COURT SYSTEM WITH NEW, MATCHING BEDDING AND PILLOWS THAT THEY WOULD NOT OTHERWISE HAVE. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO ACTS TO PROVIDE AWARENESS TO THE COMMUNITY ABOUT CHILD NEGLECT AND ABUSE IN AN EFFORT TO STOP THE CYCLE.
