TO PROVIDE A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT WHICH INCLUDES MEDICAL CARE FOR ANIMALS THAT ARE BROUGHT TO THE CITY SHELTER WITH THE GOAL OF RETURNING THEM TO THEIR OWNERS OR FINDING GOOD HOMES FOR THEM. TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON THE IMPORTANCE OF STERILIZING PETS TO REDUCE THE POPULATION.

THE MISSION OF FORREST CITY AREA HUMANE SOCIETY IS TO PROVIDE A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT WHICH INCLUDES ALL OF THEIR MEDICAL CARE FOR ANIMALS THAT ARE BROUGHT TO THE CITY SHELTER WITH THE GOAL OF RETURNING THEM TO THEIR OWNERS OR FINDING GOOD HOMES FOR THEM. THE SECOND PRIORITY IS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON THE IMPORTANCE OF STERILIZING PETS TO REDUCE THE POPULATION OF UNWANTED PUPPIES. TO THAT END FCAHS PAYS THE VETERINARY COSTS FOR SPAY OR NEUTER SURGERIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE ANIMALS AND THE COMMUNITY. IN ADDITION FCAHS PROVIDES EDUCATION TO THE PUBLIC ABOUT RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP.
