BENEFITS FOR DECEASED DEPUTY'S FAMILIES-THE TRUST PROVIDES THIS BENEFIT BY PURCHASING LIFE INSURANCE POLICIES FOR EACH SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY DEPUTY SHERIFF'S OFFICER. THIS LIFE INSURANCE IS HELD BY THE ASSOCIATION AND ONLY PAID TO THE FAMILY UPON DEATH OF OFFICER.
STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP FOR COLLEGE-CHILDREN OR DIRECT RELATIONS OFSHERIFF DEPUTIES CAN APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIP TO ATTEND UNIVERSITY ORCOLLEGE. STUDENTS MUST MAINTAIN A 2.0 GPA AVERAGE AND MUST HAVE ATLEAST 12 COLLEGE UNITS.
