AFRICA (UGANDA, KENYA, TANZANIA): EDUCATION AND SOCIAL SUPPORT FOR ORPHAN PROGRAMS, SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS, CONSERVATION PROGRAMS THROUGH SUPPORT TO 11 GRASSROOTS ORGANIZATIONS (5 IN KENYA, 5 IN UGANDA. 1 IN TANZANIA), THAT WORK WITH UNDERPRIVILEGED COMMUNITIES IN SLUM AREAS AND RURAL AREAS. THIS INCLUDES SUPPORT TO 8 SCHOOLS (MORE THAN 1500 STUDENTS), MORE THAN 100 ORPHANS, ONGOING CONSTRUCTION OF A SCHOOL/ORPHAN CENTER, A COMMUNITY WATER AND SANITATION DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM, PROGRAMS FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, CONSERVATION PROGRAMS WITH ORGANIZATIONS NEAR NATIONAL PARKS IN UGANDA.


PHILIPPINES: PROGRAMS TO REDUCE DENGUE FEVER VIA MOSQUITO CONTROL


INDIA: SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, EDUCATION, HEALTH OF UNDERPRIVILEGED COMMUNITIES, THROUGH SUPPORT OF 6 GRASSROOTS ORGANIZATIONS. THIS INCLUDES SUPPORT TO 5 SCHOOLS (MORE THAN 800 CHILDREN), ORPHAN SUPPORT PROGRAMS (~300 CHILDREN), DISABILITY PROGRAMS, VOCATIONAL TRAINING, ORGANIZATION OF WOMEN SELF-HELP GROUPS WITH MICROFINANCING (~ 500 GROUPS), SCREENING OF WOMEN FOR CERVICAL CANCER, MOBILE HEALTH CLINICS.


VIETNAM: HOUSING AND EDUCATION PROGRAM IN SOUTHERN VIETNAM (KIEN GIANG RURAL AREA). CONSTRUCTION OF SIMPLE HOUSES FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED FAMILIES (~250 HOUSES BUILT SO FAR), PROVISION OF TUITION SCHOLARSHIPS (~100 CHILDREN/YOUTH/COLLEGE STUDENTS).
