TO SECURE AND ADVANCE OFFICER SAFETY, PROMOTE HARMONIOUS EMPLOYEE RELATIONS BETWEEN SAN JOAQUIN AND SJCCOA, TO ESTABLISH AND EQUITABLE AND PEACEFUL PROCEDURE FOR THE RESOLUTION OF DIFFERENCES, ESTABLISHMENT OF SALARIES, WORKING CONDITIONS, AND ANY OTHER CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT, AND WHERE APPROPRIATE, LEGISLATIVE AND POLITICAL PROGRAMS, CONSISTENT WITH THE MISSION OF THE SJCCOA.


TO ENCOURAGE THE PROFESSIONAL GROWTH OF SJCCOA MEMBERS THROUGH EDUCATION, TRAINING, RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF PROGRAMS DIRECTED TOWARDS THE SAFE CONFINEMENT OF CRIMINAL OFFENDERS.
