WARMLINE FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER PROVIDES INFORMATION, EDUCATION AND SUPPORT TO PROMOTE AND STRENGTHEN THE FOUNDATION OF FAMILIES AND CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS SO THEY CAN FACE THE CHALLENGES OF THE PRESENT AND CREATE NEW DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE.

Part 3 - Line 4a

WARMLINE FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER SERVED AN ESTIMATED 1,200 FAMILIES DURING THE FISCAL YEAR. THE CENTER'S OBJECTIVES CONTINUE TO BE: (1) PROVIDE SUPPORT IN TIMES OF NEED, INCLUDING IMPROVED ACCESS TO NECESSARY SERVICES AND RESOURCES; (2) PROVIDE INFORMATION TO FAMILIES TO ENHANCE AGE-APPROPRIATE DEVELOPMENT OF THEIR CHILDREN, INCLUDING SOCIAL EMOTIONAL COMPETENCE; (3) PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES TO INCREASE INDIVIDUAL AND FAMILY SOCIAL CONNECTIONS AND DECREASE ISOLATION AND LACK OF SOCIAL AND FAMILY SUPPORTS; (4) INCREASE KNOWLEDGE OF PARENTING AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT; AND (5) ENHANCE PARENTAL RESILIENCE. THE CENTER'S ACHIEVEMENTS DURING THE YEAR INCLUDED:1. OPERATED OFFICE PROVIDING INFORMATION, SERVICE NAVIGATION, AND INDIVIDUAL CONSULTATIONS WITH STAFF. HOURS OF OPERATION: MONDAY - FRIDAY, 9AM - 5PM.2. PROVIDED FAMILY SUPPORT GROUP, FAMILY ACTIVITIES, AND VIRTUAL TRAININGS ON SPECIAL EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL, AND OTHER RELEVANT TOPICS FOR FAMILIES. 3. CONDUCTED VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON OUTREACH ACTIVITIES TO FAMILIES AND AGENCIES SERVING CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES AND THE GENERAL COMMUNITY.
