TO PROMOTE SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH & PERSONAL EXPLORATION OF THE STUDY OF DREAMS & TO PROVIDE AN EDUCATIONAL FORUM FOR THE INTERDISCIPLINARY EXCHANGE & DISCUSSION OF SUCH INFORMATION AMONG THE SCIENTIFIC & PROFESSIONAL COMMUNITIES & THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

IN FULFILLMENT OF OUR MISSION, WE CONDUCT AN ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE EACH SUMMER WITH MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED PRESENTERS; NUMEROUS PRESENTATIONS PROVIDE CE CREDITS FOR MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS. WE HOST A TWO WEEK ON-LINE CONFERENCE WITH PRESENTATIONS AND EXTENSIVE FORUM PARTICIPATION, AND SMALLER REGIONAL CONFERENCES.IASD SPONSORED TWO ONLINE CONFERENCES INCLUDING A DOZEN PRESENTERS AND PRESENTATIONS, AS WELL AS ONGOING ONLINE CLASSES.


JOURNAL OF IASD, "DREAMING," MAGAZINE OF IASD, "DREAM TIME," REGIONAL & ONLINE CONFERENCES. THROUGH THESE OUTLETS AND OTHER INITIATIVES, IASD FURTHERS THE PURSUIT OF THE PURE AND APPLIED INVESTIGATION OF DREAMS AND DREAMING. THE PURPOSES ARE TO PROMOTE AN AWARENESS AND APPRECIATION OF DREAMS IN BOTH PROFESSIONAL AND PUBLIC ARENAS; TO ENCOURAGE RESEARCH INTO THE NATURE, FUNCTION, AND SIGNIFICANCE OF DREAMING; TO ADVANCE THE APPLICATION OF THE STUDY OF DREAMS; AND TO PROVIDE A FORUM FOR THE ECLECTIC AND INTERDISCIPLINARY EXCHANGE OF IDEAS AND INFORMATION. IASD PUBLISHES THE REFEREED JOURNAL, DREAMING, WHICH PROVIDES NEW SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ON DREAMING. IASD ALSO PUBLISHES ITS OWN IN-HOUSE MAGAZINE, DREAMTIME, TO EDUCATE MEMBERS. OUR POPULAR WEBSITE, WWW.ASDREAMS.ORG, PROVIDES ACCESS TO INFORMATION ABOUT IASD, ITS BYLAWS, BOARD OF DIRECTORS, AND HELPFUL INFORMATION ON DREAMING, ALONG WITH A DISCUSSION BOARD TO POST QUESTIONS.IASD PUBLISHED THE JOURNAL, "DREAMING," & THE MAGAZINE OF IASD, "DREAM TIME."
