THE PUERTO RICO WOMEN'S FOUNDATION DISTRIBUTED $46,600 IN GRANTS AMONG 10 COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATIONS THAT SERVE, ORGANIZE AND ADVOCATE FOR WOMEN, GIRLS, AND THE NON-BINARY COMMUNITY OF PUERTO RICO. WE SECURED $401,000 IN GRANTS TO THE FOUNDATION WHICH WILL BE USED FOR OUR INFRASTRUCTURE AND FOR GRANTMAKING FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2022-2023. THE FOCUS OF THE FOUNDATION WAS TO CONTINUE BUILDING THE INFRASTRUCTURE, BY FINALIZING THE TRANSITION OF RESPONSIBILITIES TO THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, AND HIRE A PROGRAM OFFICER, AND A COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATE. WE ALSO DEVELOPED A MORE ROBUST STRATEGIC AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN TO LOOK FORWARD TO THE GROWTH OF THE FOUNDATION IN 3 THE NEXT YEARS.
