TO SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT AND SELF-SUFFICIENCY OF PUERTO RICO WOMEN BY OFFERING THEM HOUSING ALTERNATIVES AND EDUCATION SO THEY CAN SURPASS VIOLENCE SITUATIONS AND GENDER DISCRIMINATION AND EXERT THEIR RIGHT TO A LIFE FREE OF VIOLENCE AND FULL OF SELF DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES.

Part 3 - Line 4a

SUPPORTING HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM - TO PROVIDE TRANSITIONAL HOUSING ASSISTANCE AND RELATED SUPPORT SERVICES TO MINORS, ADULTS, AND THEIR DEPENDENTS WHO ARE HOMELESS, OR IN NEED OF TRANSITIONAL HOUSING OR OTHER HOUSING ASSISTANCE, AS A RESULT OF A SITUATION INTERVENTION SERVICES ARE UNAVAILABLE OR INSUFFICIENT. THE PROGRAM INCLUDES PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES, PAYMENTS OF CHILDCARE AND TRANSPORTATION, COORDINATION OF PSYCHOLOGICAL THERAPIES AND OTHER SUPPORT SERVICES COORDINATION. IT'S GOAL IS TO HELP WOMEN MAKE A TRANSITION TO PERMANENT HOUSING.
