THE ORGANIZATION WAS ESTABLISHED IN AN EFFORT TO RESCUE, REHABILITATE, AND LOCATE HOMES FOR ABANDONED DOGS FOUND ON THE STREETS OF PUERTO RICO. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES EACH RESCUED DOG WITH THE NECESSARY MEDICAL TREATMENT TO RETURN THE DOG TO GOOD HEALTH, WHILE AT THE SAME TIME REACHING OUT TO NUMEROUS SHELTERS AND OTHER PRIVATE ENTITIES, BOTH WHITIN THE ISLAND OF PUERTO RICO AND IN THE UNITED STATES, TO LOCATE LOVING HOMES FOR EACH DOG. THE ORGANIZATION HAS FOCUSED ON THE EDUCATION OF THE TREATMENT OF ANIMALS, INCLUDING CRUELTY TO ANIMALS AND THE IMPORTANCE OF SPAYING AND NEUTERING.
