THE FOUNDATION'S ONLINE VIDEO LIBRARY (FACINGDISABILITY.COM) CONTAINS MORE THAN 1,000 FOUNDATION-PRODUCED INTERVIEWS WITH MEDICAL EXPERTS ON MAJOR HEALTH CARE TOPICS. ANOTHER 2,000 FOUNDATION-PRODUCED VIDEOS CONTAIN INTERVIEWS WITH PEOPLE WHO ARE LIVING WITH SPINAL CORD INJURY ABOUT HOW THEY COPE. THE WEBSITE GETS APPROXIMATELY 160,000 VISITORS PER YEAR.

IT TALKS CANDIDLY ABOUT THE QUESTIONS, ISSUES AND CONCERNS THAT ARE MOST IMPORTANT IN THE EARLY DAYS AFTER A SPINAL CORD INJURY. DESIGNED FOR IN-HOSPITAL TV NETWORKS AND REHAB CENTERS (ALSO AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET) IT IS A JOINT PROJECT WITH THE SHIRLEY RYAN ABILITYLAB AND WAS FUNDED IN PART BY THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE ON DISABILITY, INDEPENDENT LIVING, AND REHABILITATION RESEARCH (NIDILRR). IT IS CURRENTLY ON THE WEBSITE OF MORE THAN 30 MAJOR HOSPITALS AND REHABILITATION CENTERS. A NEW PODCAST SERIES "I WAS A WHEELCHAIR KID" FOR TWEENS AND TEENS IS CURRENTLY IN PRODUCTION.
