NATIONAL NOVEL WRITING MONTH BELIEVES IN THE TRANSFORMATIONAL POWER OF CREATIVITY. WE PROVIDE THE STRUCTURE, COMMUNITY, AND ENCOURAGEMENT TO HELP PEOPLE FIND THEIR VOICES, ACHIEVE CREATIVE GOALS, AND BUILD NEW WORLDS - ON AND OFF THE PAGE.

337,092 WRITERS PARTICIPATED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR; 130,330 WRITERS PARTICIPATED IN OUR NOVEMBER NATIONAL NOVEL WRITING MONTH EVENT, WITH 27,003 COMPLETING THEIR WORD-COUNT GOALS. 71,832 WRITERS PARTICIPATED IN OUR CAMP NANOWRIMO EVENTS IN APRIL AND JULY, WITH 10,250 COMPLETING THEIR WORD-COUNT GOALS. WE PROVIDED FREE PROGRAM FACILITATION RESOURCES TO 841 LOCAL VOLUNTEERS IN 671 WORLDWIDE REGIONS, AS WELL AS 406 COMMUNITY SPACES.
YOUNG WRITERS PROGRAM: 83,554 K-12 STUDENT WRITERS PARTICIPATED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR; 55,507 PARTICIPATED IN OUR NOVEMBER EVENT, WITH 17,851 COMPLETING THEIR WORD-COUNT GOALS. WE PROVIDED FREE PROGRAM FACILITATION RESOURCES TO 7,007 WORLDWIDE EDUCATORS.
