CIVIL ENGINEERING CERTIFICATION, INC. PRODUCES A VOLUNTARY, POST-LICENSURE, SPECIALTY CERTIFICATIONS PROGRAM. CURRENTLY THERE ARE THREE ACADEMIES. THE FIRST IS THE AMERICAN ACADEMY OF WATER RESOURCES ENGINEERS (AAWRE) THE SECOND IS THE ACADEMY OF GEO PROFESSIONAL (AGP), AND THE THIRD IS THE ACADEMY OF COASTAL OCEAN PORT AND NAVIGATION ENGINEERS (ACOPNE). ALL THREE ACADEMIES PROVIDE CREDENTIALS (BOARD-CERTIFIED, WATER RESOURCES ENGINEER; BOARD-CERTIFIED, GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER; BOARD-CERTIFIED, COASTAL ENGINEER; BOARD-CERTIFIED, OCEAN ENGINEER; BOARD-CERTIFIED, PORT ENGINEER; AND BOARD-CERTIFIED, NAVIGATION ENGINEER). ALL THE CERTIFICATIONS ARE VOLUNTARY, POST-LICENSURE, SPECIALTY CERTIFICATION THAT PROVIDES RECOGNITION OF ADVANCED EXPERTISE IN A TECHNICAL SPECIALTY, SUPERIOR EXPERIENCE, STRONG PROFESSIONAL ETHICS AND A COMMITMENT TO LIFE-LONG LEARNING AND CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT.
