STONE VALLEY MIDDLE SCHOOL EDUCATION FUND IS A NON-PROFIT ENTITY DEDICATED TO RAISING FUNDS, THROUGH THE COLLABORATION OF PARENTS, EDUCATORS AND THE COMMUNITY, TO MAINTAIN AND ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION AND THE ENVIRONMENT FOR EVERY STUDENT AT STONE VALLEY MIDDLE SCHOOL.

STONE VALLEY EDUCATION FUND (SVEF) RAISES FUNDS FROM PARENTS (ALONG WITH SOME MATCHING CORPORATE FUNDS) AND REMITS PAYMENTS TO THE SAN RAMON VALLEY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT IN ORDER TO "PURCHASE" CLASS SECTIONS FROM THE SCHOOL DISTRICT. THIS ENABLES SVEF TO ENHANCE THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE FOR STUDENTS BY PROVIDING SMALLER CLASS SIZES FOR CERTAIN CORE AND GRADE LEVEL CURRICULUM.
MONIES RAISED BY THE SVEF FUNDRAISING EVENTS AND E-FUNDRAISING GO TO PROVIDE COMPUTERS & SOFTWARE FOR THE STONE VALLEY MIDDLE SCHOOL TECH LAB, NEW BOOKS FOR THE LIBRARY, SCHOOL CURRICULUM, SUPPLIES & LEASE PAYMENTS FOR THE SCHOOL'S COPY MACHINE AND CLASSROOM FUNDS.
THE SVEF SUPPORTS SEVERAL ACTIVITIES OUTSIDE OF REGULAR SCHOOL HOURS FOR STUDENT AND/OR PARENT PARTICIPATION AND FOR THE PROMOTION OF SCHOOL UNITY. SUCH ACTIVITIES INCLUDE FALL EVENT, SPRING EVENT, FITNESS CHALLENGE, AND OTHER EVENTS.
