A NONPROFIT WILD ANIMAL SANCTUARY, DEDICATED TO MEETING THE LIFETIME NEEDS OF ABUSED, NEGLECTED, EXPLOITED, OR SURRENDERED WILD ANIMALS, AND THE REHABILITATION AND RELEASE OF BLACK BEARS IN NEED. WE ARE ALSO FOCUSED ON EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE ISSUES THAT FACE WILD ANIMALS IN CAPTIVITY AND EDUCATING OTHERS ON PROPER AND COMPASSIONATE METHODS OF HUSBANDRY.

[EXTREMELY LIMITED THIS YEAR DUE TO COVID] POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION, GENERAL/OTHER: WE PROVIDED FULL-TIME TRAINING TO 9 STUDENTS FROM ACROSS THE COUNTRY IN PROPER AND HUMANE HUSBANDRY METHODS. IN OUR PROGRAM, THEY ALSO LEARN TO UNDERSTAND THE ISSUES FACING WILD ANIMALS IN CAPTIVITY AND HOW TO EDUCATE OTHERS TO HELP REDUCE THESE PROBLEMS (6,315 HOURS)
