THE ORGANIZATION PLANNED AND ORGANIZED A VIRTUAL STATEWIDE HPV SUMMIT IN MARCH OF 2022 WITH THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY. THE PEDIATRIC RESPITE NETWORK CONTINUED ITS WORK WITH FAMILIES OF CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL HEALTHCARE NEEDS WHO REQUIRED SUPPORT TO PROVIDE OPTIMUM CARE FOR THEIR CHILDREN. STIPENDS WERE GIVEN MONTHLY TO UP TO 30 FAMILIES WHICH HELPED THEM OBTAIN RESPITE CARE SERVICES FOR THEIR CHILDREN. THE ORGANIZATION PLANNED AND HELD MONTHLY CHAPTER CHATS FOR MEMBERS TO EDUCATE THEM ON PERTINENT HEALTHCARE TOPICS. THE ORGANIZATION APPLIED FOR AND RECEIVED A UNITED HEALTHCARE GRANT FOR TRAINING MEDICAL STUDENTS AND VISITING SCHOOLS TO TEACH HEALTHY EATING HABITS TO KINDERGARTEN CHILDREN.
