REGULATE ATHLETIC EVENTS AND PLAYOFFS (TENNIS, SOCCER, SOFTBALL, BASEBALL, FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL, GOLF, TRACK, CROSS COUNTRY, POWERLIFTING, SWIMMING, VOLLEYBALL, BOWLING, ARCHERY AND CHEERLEADING), INCLUDING REGULATION OF ELIGIBILITY OF STUDENTS; PARTICIPATION BY APPROXIMATELY 257 HIGH SCHOOLS AND 310 JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOLS


TRAIN, TEST, SUPERVISE, REGULATE ATHLETIC OFFICIALS FOR EVENTS INVOLVING MEMBER SCHOOLS; TRAIN PARAPROFESSIONAL COACHES; PROVIDE FIRST AID TRAINING FOR COACHES, STAFF, OFFICIALS, AND ANY OTHER PERSONS INVOLVED IN MEMBER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

PROVIDE CATASTROPHIC INSURANCE FOR STUDENTS PARTICIPATING IN EXTRACURRICULAR EVENTS REGULATED BY THE ASSOCIATION IN THE EVENT OF CATASTROPHIC INJURY. PROVIDE TRAINING CONFERENCES FOR ATHLETIC DIRECTORS, PRAR PROFESSIONALS, ON-LINE TRAINING OF COACHES
