THE MISSION OF 100 BLACK MEN OF GREATER HUNTSVILLE IS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE WITHIN OUR COMMUNITIES AND ENHANCE ECONOMIC AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR AT-RISK YOUTH.

Part 3 - Line 4a

THE MEN OF TOMORROW PROGRAM IS A STRUCTURED FORUM THAT ENABLES AT-RISK TEENS TO LEARN THE SKILLS TO LIVE A PRODUCTIVE LIFE. THROUGH MENTORING, OUR AT-RISK YOUTH ARE ENCOURAGED TO BE HEALTHY, EDUCATED, CONTRIBUTING MEMBERS OF SOCIETY. THESE MEN GIVE GENEROUSLY OF THEIR TIME, RESOURCES AND FOSTER YOUNG PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT BY BELIEVING IN THEM, SHARING DREAMS, GIVING BLESSING AND HELPING TO DEFINE A NEW EMERGING SELF IN A VAST WORLD OF DISCOVERY AND OPPORTUNITIES TO BECOME A VIABLE MEMBER OF SOCIETY AND OUR COMMUNITY.


SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED ANNUALLY TO GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS AND GRADUATING MEMBERS OF THE MEN OF TOMORROW PROGRAM, WHO PLAN TO ATTEND AN ACCREDITED TWO-YEAR OR FOUR-YEAR COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY AND WHO MAINTAINS AT LEAST A 2.5 CUMULATIVE GRADE POINT AVERAGE. STUDENTS RELATED TO MEMBERS ARE DISQUALIFIED. SCHOLARSHIPS ARE NOT BASED ON RACE OR GENDER.
