ARF IS A NONPROFIT ANIMAL WELFARE ORGANIZATION WHOSE MISSION IS TO SUPPORT HOMELESS AND ABANDONED ANIMALS INSIDE OUR LOCAL SHELTERS AND THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES. WE WORK TO HELP GET ANIMALS ADOPTED AND TO KEEP THEM HAPPY, HEALTY, AND IN LOVING HOMES. THROUGH SPECIAL PROGRAMS, EDUCATION, AND FUNDING; WE HELP BRIDGE GAPS BETWEEN THE LOCAL MUNICIPAL SHELTERS AND ANIMALS UNDER THEIR CARE AND WORK COLLABORATIVELY TO HELP IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ANIMALS IN THE SHELTER AND IN OUR COMMUNITY.

OUR ONE PROGRAM FOCUSED ON GETTING EACH ANIMAL UNDER OUR CARE READY FOR ADOPTION THROUGH VETERINARIAN CARE (SPAY/NEUTER, AGE APPROPRIATE VACCINES, MICROCHIPPING, AND ANY SPECIALIZED MEDICAL CARE NEEDED). AS EACH ANIMAL WAITED FOR ADOPTION, MANY REMAINED AT OUR FACILITY, WHICH INCURRED THE OPERATIONAL COST OF MAINTAINING (ELECTRICITY, WATER, GAS, INSURANCE, TRASH PICKUP, AND THE CARE OF OUR ANIMALS).
