CARE ASSURANCE FOR THE AGING AND HOMEBOUND (CASA) OF MARSHALL COUNTY ASSISTS THE ELDERLY AND HOMEBOUND CITIZENS OF THE COMMUNITY TO MAINTAIN THEIR INDEPENDENCE, DIGNITY, HEALTH AND SAFETY BY PROVIDING SERVICES WHICH SPECIFICALLY ADDRESS THEIR PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL NEEDS.

CASA VOLUNTEERS PROVIDED OVER 5,000 MAN HOURS OF SERVICE TO OVER 800 INDIVIDUALS INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO MINOR HOME REPAIRS AND WEATHERIZATION, WHEELCHAIR RAMPS, AND TRANSPORTATION TO SERVICES. CASA ALSO PROVIDED MATERIAL AID INCLUDING UTILITY ASSISTANCE, HEATING AND COOLING UNITS, FOOD, AND MEDICINE.
