STATEWIDE YOUTH PROGRAMS- ALABAMA 4-H SEEKS TO EMPOWER YOUTH WITH THE SKILLS TO LEAD OUR COMMUNITIES, OUR STATE, OUR NATION, AND ALSO OUR WORLD. ALABAMA 4-H IS OPEN TO ALL YOUTH AGES 9 TO 18, EXISTS IN ALL 67 ALABAMA COUNTIES, AND IS ALSO THE LARGEST YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM IN ALABAMA WITH MORE THAN 178,000 YOUTH REACHED EACH YEAR.


YOUTH DEVELOPMENT CENTER- THE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT CENTER, LOCATED IN COLUMBIANA, ALABAMA, PROVIDES YOUTH DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES SUCH AS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, SUMMER CAMPS, AND THE ALABAMA 4-H SCIENCE SCHOOL. THE ALABAMA 4-H SCIENCE SCHOOL PRIDES ITSELF IN PROVIDING QUALITY EXPERIENTIAL ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION THROUGH ADVENTURE, OUTDOOR AND SCIENCE CLASSES.
