THE FOUNDATION FOR GERIATRIC EDUCATION SUPPORTS AND PROVIDES FUNDING FOR THE PURCHASE OF VIDEOS, BOOKS, AND VARIOUS OTHER LEARNING TOOLS WHICH HELP TO INCREASE THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION IN THE FIELD OF GERIATRICS.

THE PURPOSE OF PROGRAM EXPENSES OF THE FOUNDATION ARE TO DEVELOP AND FURTHER ENHANCE GERIATRIC CURRICULUMS IN HEALTHCARE TEACHING PROGRAMS AND TO ENCOURAGE STUDENTS TO CONSIDER SPECIALIZING IN THE FIELD OF GERIATRICS. THE FOUNDATION ALSO USES FUNDS TO GENERATE AN INCREASED LEVEL OF INTEREST AND KNOWLEDGE OF GERIATRIC PROGRAMS AMONG PRACTICING HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS THROUGH CONTINUING EDUCATION.
