AQIB TALIBS MOTIVATION FOUNDATIONS MISSION IS ROOTED IN THE BELIEF THAT PROVIDING YOUTH ATHLETES WITH ACCESS TO CAREER AND EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT WILL HELP THEM BUILD A FRAMEWORK FOR CONFIDENCE AND SUCCESS ON AND OFF THE FIELD.

WATTS EMPOWERMENT - PROVIDES MENORSHIP TO AT-RISK YOUTHS AND YOUNGD ADULTS. WATTS EMPOWERMENT PROVIDES ACCESS TO SPORTS LEAGUES, RESUME-BUILDING WORKSHOPS, SCHOOL TUTORING, MUSIC CLASSES, AND MENTAL HEALTH AND STRESS MANAGEMENT WORKSHOPS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO CREATES MEANINGFUL CONNECTIONS THAT CAN POSITIVELY IMPACT THE LIVES OF THE MENTEE. THOSE WHO RECEIVE MENTORSHIP ARE MORE LIKELY TO SEE IMPROVED ACADEMIC, SOCIAL, AND ECONOMIC IMPACTS.
HUDDLE OF HOPE - AQIB TALIBS MOTIVATION FOUNDATION, WITH THE HELP OF SANTA, HOSTED A HOLIDAY EVENT FOR 50 UNDERPRIVLEDGED AT-RISK YOUTHS WHO WOULD OTHERWISE NOT HAVE A HOLIDAY EXPERIENCE.
BACKPACK GIVEAWAY - AQIB TALIBS MOTIVATION FOUNDATION WILL HOLD AN ICE CREAM PARTY FOR STUDENTS FROM TITLE 1 SCHOOLS WITHIN RICHARDSON INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT. STUDENTS WILL MEET WITH AQIB AND GET A BACKPACK FULL OF SCHOOL SUPPLIES.
