THE CCD PRODUCED FOUR LIVE CONCERTS IN DECEMBER AND MAY DURING THE FISCAL YEAR. THE CCD HAS AN ACTIVE OUTREACH EFFORT INCLUDING YOUNG PEOPLE INTERESTED IN CHORALE SINGING IN OUR CHORUS. DURING THE YEAR WE UNDERTOOK THE PLANNING OF A PERFORMANCE TOUR OF EUROPE (PAYING THE COSTS OF PARTICIPATION OF SEVERAL UNDERPRIVILEGED YOUNG PEOPLE FROM A LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL) TO OCCUR IN SEPTEMBER 2024 AND ALSO ESTABLISHED AN ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP AT WAYNE STATE UNIVERSITY FOR VOCAL STUDIES OF DETROIT STUDENTS.
