WE IMPACT LIVES BY HELPING GLOBAL COMMUNITIES MEET LONG-TERM SAFE WATER AND SANITATION NEEDS.

IN 2021 WATERSTEP (WS) IMPACTED 1.1 MILLION LIVES BY PROVIDING ACCESS TO SAFE WATER, SANITATION AND HEALTH EDUCATION, BRINGING OUR GRAND TOTAL TO JUST OVER 5.2 MILLION LIVES SERVED. WE DID THIS WITH SUPPORT OF HUNDREDS OF VOLUNTEERS, INCLUDING AN ALL-VOLUNTEER MANUFACTURING/ASSEMBLY TEAM. IN 2021, WS DEPLOYED 377 PIECES OF EQUIPMENT IN 26 COUNTRIES. WE HAD 81 INTERNATIONAL FIELD CONSULTANTS WORKING ON 484 WATER AND/OR DISINFECTANT PROJECTS AROUND THE GLOBE. WE RESPONDED TO SEVERAL DISASTER SITUATIONS WITH THE TWO LARGEST BEING THE DEADLY EARTHQUAKE IN HAITI, PROVIDING RELIEF TO 150,000 PEOPLE IN AUGUST AND THE TRAGIC TORNADO IN WESTERN KENTUCKY, PROVIDING RELIEF TO 28,000 PEOPLE IN DECEMBER. OUR COMMUNITY EDUCATION AND ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM PROVIDED 122,000 POUNDS OF GENTLY (CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O) USED SHOES TO BE REPURPOSED AND USED AROUND THE WORLD TO BENEFIT OTHERS.
