ONGOING MONITORING OF GOVERNMENT ACTIONS EFFECTING RETAIL BUSINESS AND RETAIL CLIMATE IN KENTUCKY. GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS ACTIVITY INCLUDES EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL MEETINGS AND PUBLIC RELATIONS ACTIVITIES. ESTIMATED 1,100 MEMBERS BENEFITED.
THE FEDERATION PUBLISHES A NEWSLETTER ON A REGULAR BASIS TO DISSEMINATE RETAIL SPECIFIC INFORMATION BENEFITING ALL ITS 1,100 MEMBERS. THIS PUBLICATION INCLUDES GOVERNMENT REGULATORY INFORMATION AND ARTICLES OF CURRENT INTEREST AND BENEFIT TO THE RETAIL COMMUNITY. THE FEDERATION ALSO DISTRIBUTES OTHER PUBLICATIONS TO ITS MEMBERS ON AN AS-NEEDED BASIS. THE FEDERATION ALSO CONDUCTS ON-GOING MEDIA RELATIONS TO BENEFIT ITS MEMBERS.
