SIXTEEN SURGERIES FOR CONGENITAL AND ACQUIRED HEART DISEASE. 177 PATIENTS CARED FOR DURING OUTREACH CLINICS IN LOCAL COMMUNITIES. WATER FILTRATION SYSTEMS, FOOD AND OTHER PROVISIONS PROVIDED. A 40-FOOT CONTAINER INCLUDING A HEATER COOLER FOR SURGERY AND HOSPITAL SUPPLIES TO REPLACE LOSSES DURING COVID OUTBREAK WAS SHIPPED. CRITICAL CARE EDUCATION WAS PROVIDED.

SURGICAL, ICU AND ASSOCIATED DEPARTMENTS RECEIVED SUPPORT AND EDUCATION TO BECOME A SELF-SUSTAINING SURGICAL CARE CENTER.
SANTO DOMINGO, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC - THE ECHO SCREENING MISSION IDENTIFIED 17 PATIENTS IN NEED OF SURGICAL OR INTERVENTIONAL CARDIAC PROCEDURES. THE SEPTEMBER PEDIATRIC MISSION, INCLUDING 13 INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGICAL PROCEDURES AND 6 OPEN HEART SURGERIES. OUTREACH CONGENITAL HEART SCREENING IDENTIFIED 37 PEDIATRIC HEART CASES. DENTAL EXAMINATIONS, FLUORIDE, CLEANING, AND EDUCATION WAS PROVIDED CARE FOR 16 PEDIATRIC PATIENTS. ONE PATIENT WAS TREATED FOR DENTAL CARIES WITH INFECTION, A RISK FOR HEART PATIENTS.
