OUR MISSION IS TO BUILD COMMUNITY THROUGH EDUCATION, FOOD ACCESSIBILITY, AND BY BEING A MODEL OF APPROPRIATE LAND STEWARDSHIP AND SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE TECHNIQUES.

CSA (COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE) PROGRAM - PEOPLE BECOME MEMBERS BY PAYING A SEASONAL FEE, WHICH ENTITLES THEM TO A SHARE OF THE WEEKLY HARVEST OF VEGETABLES DURING OUR HARVEST SEASON (NOVEMBER THROUGH MAY). MEMBERSHIP IN OUR CSA AFFORDS ACCESS TO THE FRESHEST POSSIBLE ORGANIC PRODUCE WHILE SUPPORTING LOCAL, SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE. OUR CSA SERVED 98 MEMBERS IN THE 2020-2021 SEASON


EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM - SWEETWATER PROVIDES A HANDS-ON, INTERACTIVE FIELD TRIP PROGRAM FOR SCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN FROM PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS, HOME-SCHOOLS, SCOUT TROOPS, UNIVERSITIES AND OTHER COMMUNITY 2 GROUPS. WE ALSO HAVE A SEASONAL WORKSHOP SERIES WHICH HIGHLIGHTS "HOW TO" PROJECTS AND SUSTAINABLE LIVING PRACTICES SUCH AS GARDENING, HEALTHY EATING AND WHOLISTIC HEALING. FIELD TRIPS RUN FROM YEAR AROUND.


SUNDAY MARKET - SWEETWATER HAS A SEASONAL WEEKLY FARMER'S MARKET FEATURING ORGANIC PRODUCE, ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY CRAFTS, PREPARED FOODS, CLOTHING, AND LIVE MUSIC. THE MARKET RUNS FROM MID-OCTOBER THROUGH THE END OF MAY.
