THE CITRUS COUNTY EDUCATION FOUNDATION, INC. PROVIDES RESOURCES TO SUPPORT CITRUS COUNTY SCHOOLS TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION. THE FOUNDATION IS DEDICATED TO: ENCOURAGING BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM. PROMOTING CREATIVE AND INNOVATIVE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS. FOSTERING EXCELLENCE IN LEARNING. RECOGNIZING OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS OF STUDENTS, TEACHERS, SUPPORT PERSONNEL AND ADMINISTRATORS.

THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED FUNDS TO TEACHERS IN THE FORM OF MINI-GRANTS AND SUPPORTED EDUCATION IN CITRUS COUNTY BY RECOGNIZING THE TEACHER AND EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR. THE ORGANIZATION RECOGNIZED OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE IN THE CLASSROOM BY BOTH TEACHER AND SUPPORT PERSONNEL.


THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVED FUNDS FOUNDATIONS AND CONTRIBUTORS TO SUPPORT EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED BY THE CITRUS COUNTY DISTRICT SCHOOLS. THESE PROGRAMS WERE USED TO SUPPORT DISTRICT INITIATIVES.
