THE HOMELSS FAMILY CENTER PROVIDES LONG TERM TRANSITIONAL HOUSING FOR HOMELESS FAMILIES ON THE TREASURE COAST. THE HOMELESS FAMILY CENTER FOCUSES ON EDUCATION, JOB TRAINING, AND LIFE SKILLS NEEDED FOR SELF- SUFFICIENCY.
THE HOMELESS FAMILY CENTER OPERATES A SECOND CHANCE THRIFT STORE AND TRAINING CENTER FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING JOB TRAINING FOR ITS CLIENTS IN A RETAIL SETTING. TRAINING INCLUDES CLASSROOM COURSEWORK COVERING THE FUNDAMENTALS OF RETAIL MANAGEMENT AS WELL AS HANDS-ON SHOP EXPERIENCE LEAD BY RETAIL EXPERTS.
