THE MISSION OF ZETA PHI BETA IS TO FOSTER THE IDEAS OF SERVICE, CHARITY, SCHOLARSHIP, CIVIL AND CULTURAL ENDEAVORS, SISTERHOOD AND FINER WOMANHOOD. THESE IDEALS ARE REFLECTED IN THE SORORITY'S NATIONAL PROGRAM FOR WHICH ITS MEMBERS AND AUXILIARY GROUPS PROVIDE VOLUNTARY SERVICE TO STAFF, COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS, FUND SCHOLARSHIPS, SUPPORT ORGANIZED CHARITIES, AND PROMOTE LEGISLATION FOR SOCIAL AND CIVIC CHANGE.THE SOUTHEASTERN REGION OF ZETA PHI BETA SORORITY, INCORPORATED, THROUGH COMMUNITY CONSCIOUS, ACTION ORIENTED PROGRAMMING, WILL RENDER SERVICE TO ITS COMMUNITIES, ITS STATES AND ON NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL LEVELS, IN ACADEMICS, HEALTH, AND THROUGH SOCIAL ENGAGEMENT, WHILE FOSTERING SISTERHOOD AND EMBODYING FINER WOMANHOOD IN THOUGHTS, ACTIONS, AND DEEDS.

FLORIDA STATE LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS IN THE PURSUIT OF HIGHER EDUCATION. TO CONDUCT COMMUNITY EDUCATIONAL AND VOCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT IN INDIVIDUAL AND COMMUNITY LIVING STANDARDS; TO ENGAGE IN ACTIVITIES WHICH WILL AID IN THE EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF ALL WOMEN; AND TO ENGAGE IN ANY APPROPRIATE RESEARCH RELATED TO THE PURPOSE OF SCHOLARSHIP.
CONFERENCES WERE HELD TO PROVIDE PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR GRADUATE, UNDERGRADUATE AND YOUTH. THE CONFERENCES PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL TRAININGS AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS. THE CONFERENCES SUPPORTED EDUCATION OF NATIONAL INITIATIVES.
ADDITIONALLY, THE STATE PROMOTED THE NATIONAL INITIATIVE, ZETAS HELPING OTHER PEOPLE EXCEL (Z-HOPE) IS AN INTERACTIVE HOLISTIC MULTIDIMENSIONAL OUTREACH PROGRAM DESIGNED TO ENHANCE, CULTIVATE AND EMPOWER PARTICIPANTS TO DEVELOP HEALTH PROMOTING LIFESTYLE CHOICES ACROSS THE LIFESPAN.
