WE ALSO HAVE AN ANNUAL CHILDREN'S CONCERT WHERE WE BUS IN 1,700 AREA SCHOOL CHILDREN TO SEE THEIR FIRST LIVE ORCHESTRA CONCERT. THE ORCHESTRA PERFORMS BY INVITATION IN ST. AT OUR POPS CONCERT EACH YEAR WE INVITE THE AUDIENCE TO WALK THROUGHOUT THE ORCHESTRA WHILE THEY ARE PERFORMING TO IMMERSE THEMSELVES IN THE PERFORMANCE ON THE STAGE. WE ALSO INVITE PROMINENT LOCAL ARTISTS TO PAINT A PORTRAIT ON STAGE WHILE THE ORCHESTRA PLAYS, COMPLETING THE WORK OF ART BEFORE THE PERFORMANCE IS OVER.
