THE HOUSE NEXT DOOR, INC. (THE ORGANIZATION) IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION THAT PROVIDES MENTAL HEALTH AND EDUCATIONAL SERVICES AS A MINISTRY OF CARE AND CONCERN FOR FAMILIES IN THE COMMUNITY. ITS PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO PREVENT PROBLEMS FROM DEVELOPING IN INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES, AND TO SHOW THOSE EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS HOW TO SOLVE THEM BEFORE THEY BECOME MORE SERIOUS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO OPERATES A CHILD DAY CARE PROGRAM THAT SUPPORTS ITS PRIMARY PURPOSE OF PREVENTATIVE MENTAL HEALTH AND EDUCATION. THE HEALTH CARD PROGRAM AND CHILD CARE FOOD PROGRAM (CCFP) PROMOTE GOOD HEALTH IN FAMILIES.

INTERVENTION. SERVICES INCLUDE ALPHA, SUCCESS BY DESIGN, MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPY, CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION, MAKING CHANGES, SEXUAL ABUSE TREATMENT PROGRAM, STEP BY STEP AND CONFLICT RESOLUTION (SERVES APPROXIMATELY 765 PERSONS).


PREVENTION. SERVICES INCLUDE HOMEWORK CLUB, TEAM AND TEEN COURT, WVHA HEALTH CARD, AND CCFP, AND CARES. (SERVES APPROXIMATELY 2,133 PERSONS).


LITTLE HOUSE NEXT DOOR DAYCARE (SERVES APPROXIMATELY 60 PERSONS PER MONTH).
