ASSIST VETERANS AND MILITARY PERSONNEL AND THEIR FAMILIES; DIRECT PUBLIC ATTENTION TO THE NEEDS OF THESE GROUPS; PROMOTE AND ASSIST IN FUNDING PROGRAMS SPONSORED BY THE VFW, ITS AFFILIATES, AND OTHER NON-PROFIT GROUPS.

SUPPORT LOCAL YOUTH PROGRAMS, COUNTY WIDE TO INCLUDE SCHOLARSHIPS THROUGH THE VOICE OF DEMOCRACY AND PEN PROGRAMS AS WELL AS JROTC PROGRAMS AND BOY SCOUT RANGER DAYS. 3922 TOTAL HOURS TO SUPPORT COMMUNITY YOUR ACTIVITIES. PROGRAMS SUPPORT COUNTY YOUTH POPULATION OF 18,000 CHILDREN BETWEEN THE AGES OF 5 AND 18.


- SUPPORT THE CHESTER SIMMS VETERANS NURSING HOME THROUGH VISITATION AND DONATIONS AS WELL AS SPONSORING DAY ON THE TOWN LUNCHES AND THE INDEPENDENCE DAY FESTIVAL. 1924 TOTAL NURSING HOME AND HOSPITAL HOURS ANNUALLY, SUPPORTING APPROXIMATELY 500 VETERANS


ORGANIZED MULTIPLE VOLUNTEER TEAMS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT IN THE FORM OF PROPERTY MITIGATION AND TRANSPORTING FOOD AND SUPPLIES TO VETERANS AND OTHER MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY. MEMBERS SUPPORTED NEIGHBORHOODS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTY WITH A TOTAL POPULATION OF 250,287
