ESCAMBIA COUNTY FARM BUREAU SPONSORS THE GCA/NRYO LIVESTOCK SHOW. STUDENTS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHOW OFF THEIR ANIMAL SCIENCE SKILLS GLEANED FROM THEIR PROJECTS. STUDENTS LEARN LIFE SKILLS AS WELL AS TEAMWORK, RESPONSIBILITY, WORK ETHICS, TIME MANAGEMENT AND BUSINESS SKILLS.


WE STRONGLY SUPPORT THE NORTHVIEW HIGH SCHOOL FFA'S FRESH FROM FLORIDA PROGRAM. THIS PROGRAM'S PURPOSE IS TO EDUCATE STUDENTS ON THE IMPORTANCE OF AGRICULTURE IN OUR COUNTY AND ENCOURAGE FFA MEMBERS TO PARTICIPATE IN AGRICULTURAL LITERACY AND AWARENESS PROJECTS ON THE LOCAL LEVEL. STUDENT RECEIVED THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN ABOUT AGRICULTURE FIRSTHAND AS THEY GOT UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL WITH FARM ANIMALS, FARM EQUIPMENT, AND MORE. THIS PROGRAM HAS BEEN NATIONALLY RECONGIZED BY THE NATIONAL FFA.
