THE NATIONAL INFANTRY MUSEUM FOUNDATION HONORS SOLDIERS BY SUPPORTING THE NATIONAL INFANTRY MUSEUM AND SOLDIER CENTER, WHOSE MISSION IS TO PROVIDE EDUCATION AND TRAINING TO SOLDIERS, FAMILIES, AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC ON ALL FACETS OF THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES INFANTRY, THE ORIGIN AND DEVELOPMENT OF FORT BENNING, AND AN OVERVIEW OF THE U.S. ARMY.

DURING 2021, THE MUSEUM HAD 96,401 VISITORS AND HOSTED 334 RENTALS AND SPECIAL EVENTS. THE NATIONAL INFANTRY MUSEUM IS THE #1 RATED ATTRACTION IN THE COLUMBUS AREA ON TRIP ADVISOR AND WON THE USA TODAY 2016,2020, AND 2021 READER'S CHOICE AWARD FOR "BEST FREE MUSEUM IN AMERICA".
